A combination of fun and educational activities, the Diversity Health Fair is a free community event that takes place each Spring. The first Diversity Health Fair took place in 2005 and it has since became the largest event of its kind in Canada. The 2010 Diversity Health Fair will focus on the theme of Healthy Living and Healthy Weight.
When visiting the Diversity Health Fair, you and your family will have access to a great deal of information in different languages about what is and how to adopt a healthy or balanced diet, how to control your weight, and strategies to enjoy daily physical activities. All of these are considered to be the best steps to prevent diabetes and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

The Westcoast Motorcycle Ride to Live is an organization of volunteers that dedicate their time to Save BC Men in the Fight against Prostate Cancer, a common cancer among Canadian Men. Our Primary annual event is a large spectacular motorcycle fundraising parade and ride involving hundreds of motorcyclists from all over South Western BC and the Interior.
The main reason for the ride and parade is to bring awareness to men and their families. The main purpose is to raise funds for prostate cancer research, education and support in BC.
At the present time, the Westcoast Motorcycle Ride to Live hosts 2 events, one in the Lower Mainland and one on Vancouver Island. In future, other BC communities may join us in the battle to fight prostate cancer.
