Agassiz is a small community located in British Columbia's Fraser Valley. It falls under the jurisdiction of the District Municipality of Kent and provides the majority of Kent's population.

In 2009 we celebrate the 105th Fall Fair,61st Corn Festival, and "BC's Best Little Fair".
There are special corn exhibit categories to help celebrate the event. See the exhibit book for the details. Included in the activities will be a parade, stage entertainment, midway, corn husking, livestock, 4-H exhibits, educational displays, antique tractor pull, home arts, photography, farmer’s market, kids’ corn’r, crafts, flowers and vegetables. The crowning of the Corn King or Queen will take place on the stage. There is always some of the traditional fair activities and something new
